Talk:Linux Server
From SA-MP Wiki
i dont really think u need a FTP access, you can download & extract files using wget and tar when connected to the ssh daemon --Mabako 01:49, 11 June 2006 (CEST)
- Almost right, because Linux is case sensitive, the commands are named 'wget' and 'tar' :)
- wget "http://website.com/link/to/latest.tar.gz"
- tar -xzf latest.tar.gz --Dazjorz
- you're still right - it was just to highlight the commands --mabako 21:25, 5 July 2006 (CEST)

Reverted page
I've just reverted the article as about half of the article was deleted. There didn't appear to be any useful edits done to the page and a lot of good info was lost. Hopefully no-one disagrees with me but if you do could you please state your reasons on the talk page. Thank you. --Danmal 03:50, 24 June 2007 (CEST)
