I just noticed that the magic word {{lcfirst:}} (convert to lower case, first letter only) actually works on this wiki, although I'm not sure whether it should be incorporated in this template and/or in Template:LowercaseFunction.
{{lcfirst:Db_close}} → db_close

That could be useful, but there's still the issue of underscores. If this was added to the LowercaseFunction template then on pages where DisplayTitle is used also (e.g. db_open) there'd be two instances of the title replacement div. I'd just stick with DisplayTitle. MP2 12:03, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
