What does "output" really do?

Hi. Can someone explain me this line in more detail, please? "output - Enable/Disable output of console messages to stdout" Does this option disables/enables writing server log to a file or what? - Blantas 18:21, 7 June 2012 (CEST)

stdout means 'standard output'. I'm not sure whether that refers to the console window, the log file, or both. Only way to be sure it to test it out. --Vince (Talk) 20:06, 9 June 2012 (CEST)
